"What I do" is design

My fine art education and professional experience have given me the practical skills and the vision to create solid design on paper, canvas and computer. I approach each job as an opportunity to create something unique.

Whether it is fine art or commercial art-created with a pencil, pen, brush, or a pixel, I design using my understanding of composition, line, proportion, texture, value, intensity and color. I know that computer software programs, and hi-tech gadgets are simply tools I may use in puting together the pieces of a creative puzzle. The tools alone will not create good design. It is the orchestration of technique, vision, and material that bring a design concept to fruition.
